CGI Platform Maintenance - UPDATE
CGI Services
Posted on: Friday 5 March 2010, 08:02
This is an update to the situation with our CGI hosting platform.
Back in August of last year we switched off SSH and Telnet access to our CGI web servers -

We will not be restoring shell access to the CGI servers, although we have built an alternative platform running PHP5 that we will be providing more details about shortly.
As there isn't essentially a 'problem' with the CGI platform, we're going to set Service Status back to Green. We will continue to make announcements though regarding the launch of the alternative platform.
Both new and old platforms will run side by side whilst we ascertain what additional work is going to be required before we'd be in a position to retire the current offering.
At launch, only customers with access to the existing CGI platform will be able to access the new one.
We'd like to thank customers for their patience and will post full details about how you can access the new servers in the next update.
Kind Regards,
